Privacy Policy

ToroFit is a fitness and wellness application provided by Madtoro Group Inc. This Privacy Policy explains how the current ToroFit Android app and website handle information.
Information you provide
ToroFit lets you sign in and create a profile containing your email address, name, age, sex, height, weight, goal weight, activity level, fitness goals, workout progress, nutrition entries, water intake, and fasting-timer information. Signed-in profile information is stored in ToroFit's hosted database so it can be available across sessions and devices. Limited information may also remain in app or browser storage to support offline and device-local use.
Food photos and Ava messages
The current food-scanner preview does not upload or retain selected food photos. When live AI is configured, messages you send to Ava and relevant profile or progress context are transmitted to our AI service provider to generate a response. If live AI is unavailable, Ava uses ToroFit's built-in guided responses. Do not send Ava information you do not want processed for this purpose.
Smartwatch and health connections
The current version displays planned Apple Health and Health Connect connections, but does not yet access or collect smartwatch or health-platform data. ToroFit will request permission and update its disclosures before enabling those connections.
Technical information and service providers
Our authentication, website hosting, database, AI, content-delivery, and video-delivery providers may process information needed to provide their services. This may include account identifiers, Ava messages and relevant context, IP address, browser or device information, and request details needed to deliver content, prevent abuse, maintain security, and operate ToroFit. These providers process information on our behalf or under their own applicable privacy terms. ToroFit does not use advertising SDKs and does not sell personal information.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate your account, store and display your profile, personalize Ava's general wellness guidance, calculate progress, remember completed workouts, and operate nutrition and fasting tools. ToroFit provides general fitness and wellness information and does not diagnose or treat medical conditions.
Retention and deletion
Locally stored ToroFit information remains until you clear the app or browser storage or uninstall the app. Signed-in profile information is retained while your account is active or as needed to operate and secure the service. You may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us. We may retain limited information when legally required or needed for security and dispute prevention.
Security
ToroFit uses encrypted HTTPS connections for content delivered over the internet. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, but we use reasonable measures appropriate to the current service.
Age eligibility
ToroFit is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when ToroFit’s features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the latest version.
